In my artwork, "Beauty in the Invisible World," I delve into the experiences of countless women who, like myself, grew up in an environment where societal standards and social media imposed unrealistic ideals of beauty upon us. The standard of beauty often felt unattainable, and many of us spent our formative years feeling inadequate in a world that demanded perfection and constant judgment.
I vividly recall someone once telling me, "There are no ugly women; there are only poor husbands," a statement that stung with its painful implications. It took me many years to realize that true beauty lies within, invisible to the superficial judgments of the world.
The true essence of beauty is attained through a state of mind and spirit, and it's a realization I've come to embrace.
I have evolved into the woman I want to be, and I now recognize myself as the most beautiful version of me, not by the world's fickle standards, but by the eyes of the one I desire to be judged by: my Heavenly Father. This inner beauty radiates from my being and my life.
"Beauty in the Invisible World" is a poignant representation of the journey to self-acceptance and the discovery of authentic beauty. It serves as a reminder that true beauty transcends the physical and emanates from within, a testament to the power of self-love and the transformation of self-perception. This painting invites viewers to reflect on their own journeys of self-discovery and the boundless beauty that can be found in embracing one's inner self.
